Mulberry’s founder Roger Saul is actioning off pieces from his personal archive at London-based auction house Dreweatts next month.The auction will take place on August 7 and features pieces from Saul’s personal Mulberry archive, collected over 50 years, including handbags, fashion, shoes, luggage and accessories, as well as home interiors, such as fabric, furniture, china, glass, lighting and rugs.The sale will include never-before-seen design samples and personal memorabilia, alongside iconic classics across all the Mulberry ranges. Highlights include a Mulberry chestnut girthgrain, leather holdall designed by Saul in 1975, leather belts, and a Mulberry check boucle wool jacket worn by actress Kate Winslet in a brand photoshoot.Dreweatts also notes that two items in the collection are similar to the ones purchased and worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, who was a big fan of the brand, a waxed cotton leather drover coat and a pleated silk floral skirt.Other standout items include pieces from the Mulberry ski wear range, leather travel cases, tweed waistcoats, a clipper bag in the signature Mulberry check design and a scotch grain Mulberry carry-on bag with tan saddle leather trim.

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), co-founded by D3 and the Arab Fashion Council, has announced it will return for spring/summer 2025, ahead of New York Fashion Week from September 1 to 7.The preliminary SS25 schedule features more than 30 established and emerging designers from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, the UAE and the UK.They will showcase streetwear and haute couture collections alongside internationally acclaimed guest designers, which will be announced shortly. So, I’ve been dropping some poundage and needed an athletic shirt to sit as a stand in for a cycling jersey. I didn’t want to spend money on a cycling jersey, only to not be able to wear it in a few months. This shirt was a great decision. I’ve never worn athletic shirts before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect or how effective it would be.

First, the shirt is incredibly comfortable. On a 2.5 hour ride, it never chaffed or rubbed the wrong way. I purchased it in white, so it did a great job at reflecting the sunlight and keeping me cool. I was also pretty impressed at how quickly the shirt dried (and I sweat A LOT). Within about 20 minutes of me finishing my ride, the shirt was pretty dry.
But overall, really worth the money.
