Iggy Azalea Fires Back at T.I.’s Criticism: ‘Please Stop Lying’
The response was prompted by quotes from T.I. taking credit for Iggy’s early career success and also calling the “blunder” of signing her the “tarnish of his legacy” as a music exectutive. “As far as I’m concerned, I feel like when she found out white people liked her and she didn’t really need black people to like her anymore, she switched up, started acting different, made moves that I wasn’t proud of, that kind of placed my reputation in the line of fire,” T.I. told The Breakfast Club. “And she was very arrogant about it.”Azalea also claimed that T.I. only helped her write one song, “100,” and said that he tried to re-sign her to Hustle Gang back in 2017. “I don’t understand how you could think you were responsible for something you never even heard until it was mixed and mastered,” she continued. “I think about it but honestly what do I get out of that?”
