The late designer himself was the creative director at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001. In many ways, Burton’s move seems to be the only conceivable path for the designer, who has spent most of her career firmly linked to the man who hired her as an intern in 1996. In fact, Burton was originally employed full-time at the McQueen label, while the founder split his time between the two houses.Her appointment decades after McQueen is far less controversial than that of her mentor in his day, when he took on the prestigious position of artistic director at only 27 and pushed the boundaries of what a couture house could be. The reception at the time was lukewarm at best, and yet McQueen and his 18 collections have since shaped not only the history of Givenchy, but also that of fashion – and some of Burton’s collections.

Bought for Father’s Day for hubby. Ordered the 2XL. The tag on short said XXL which is not the same thing. It was tight. Nice fabric though. Short fits at the waist and raises above when raising arms.

Nice smooth material with no itchy inside seams or tags. But go up a size from usual.
That’s because the fit is odd.
On my average-athletic 5’11” frame, the L is oddly small, tapering to the waist such that it pulls towards the back. Not a flattering look. It’s also a little shorter/smaller than I expect even for UA, especially since it’s not a stretchy fit.
I went up to an XL, which was *also* oddly a little *larger* this time than UA XL is normally, reaching almost the back of my thighs in back (front is normal “at the hips”) and feeling roomy enough that it could be a girlfriend-steals-it shirt.

Decent Tees
I’ve ordered these 10 or 12 times in different colors. Haven’t had any problems with them being rough or scratchy or seams coming undone. I live in the south so they are plenty heavy enough. I would call them a medium weight cotton. After washing and drying they’re still longer than the other brands I’ve tried from Walmart. I like my Tees over-sized so I order a xxxl. For the price I cant complain

So, I’ve been dropping some poundage and needed an athletic shirt to sit as a stand in for a cycling jersey. I didn’t want to spend money on a cycling jersey, only to not be able to wear it in a few months. This shirt was a great decision. I’ve never worn athletic shirts before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect or how effective it would be.
First, the shirt is incredibly comfortable. On a 2.5 hour ride, it never chaffed or rubbed the wrong way. I purchased it in white, so it did a great job at reflecting the sunlight and keeping me cool. I was also pretty impressed at how quickly the shirt dried (and I sweat A LOT). Within about 20 minutes of me finishing my ride, the shirt was pretty dry.
But overall, really worth the money.
