Hard to be the change you seek in this world when the very ones you hope will see you are wearing blinders. Not lieing/not gossiping and giving a decent salary also helps a whole lot. Still I think the things mentioned in the video is a good start.I am fortunate to have a place where incivility is not presented in the obvious way the Bspeaker talks about but, not actioning your employee’s needs or making false promises and making excuses for not reviewing work on time are also forms of incivility in my opinion because that is ultimately disrespecting a person’s hard work. So even if barbaric ways of incivility is reduced through smiling and words of gratitude, but the actions do not align, then we have another issue.
