French fashion label Balmain is set to embark on a new adventure as it prepares to participate in this year’s Indigenous Fashion Week event hosted by Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) Native Fashion.During the occasion, which will take place simultaneous to the 102nd edition of Santa Fe’s Native Indian Market, Balmain Paris will offer a sneak peek of its autumn 2024 collection worn by a selection of handpicked SWAIA models.SWAIA said the partnership would provide SNF models with “international fashion exposure while exposing Indigenous designers to a broader audience”, emphasising the organisation’s commitment to “elevating Indigenous fashion within the global fashion conversation”.

This shirt is very comfortable, light, and moisture wicking as advertised. It also fits as expected — sometimes. I bought five of these in all different colors. They all arrived in the same box but individually sealed in plastic. The ones that fit as expected were labeled medium and are made in Jordan. The plastic they were wrapped in had the under armour logo on it. The ones that didn’t look to have been resealed in unmarked plastic and while they too are labeled medium they say they are made in Mexico. The shirts labeled as from Mexico are a good 1-2 inches shorter in length and seem to be more fitted in cut than the Jordan shirts, which have a nice loose cut without being sloppy. The seller should really advertise this difference on each shirt color as it applies since there seems to be two very different fits with no distinction in the name. Would have given a five star review if not for this issue and will not purchase again until fit is less of a crapshoot.

I bought these as my primary work shirts. Where my other ones you can get the big box dept store (or anywhere really) wore holes in them pretty fast, these have stood up to the wear and tear of ‘work’ work, ‘home’ work, and the washings and dryings in between. I don’t wear anything else to work in. Haven’t since I got them late Nov of last year. There is one caveat : I sweat a lot and these do not help there. I chose black simply because it helps to hide it while on the job, but they are thicker than the usual t-shirt and will add to the seat factor. I bought 4 sets; They’re all I wear. Except when I go out. An added bonus is that the black hides the grease stains that inevitably are left on any clothing when working on a vehicle. I’ve made 2 pairs of good jeans into work-around-the-house jeans, but nothing at all can be seen on these (black) shirts.

nothing to dislike about the shirts. My husband is very hard on t-shirts in the shop and I keep replacing them so he looks decent. He gets glue, or gelcoat, or paint, or tears, or grease on them.
These look nice, washed nicely, dried looking very nice. Likely will order more.
