Christmas Mele Kalikimaka Hawaii Shirt . Canada Goose’s ongoing sale of fur products in 2024 has only fueled consumer confusion, especially following its recent collaboration with Fonda. Following the PBI collaboration announcement in May, thousands of consumers voiced their disappointment in her working on the brand, with many highlighting not just the cruelty linked to wild fur trapping but also down production. Down is made from soft feathers from ducks and geese, which are either controversially live-plucked or harvested after the birds are slaughtered for meat. The feathers are then cleaned, sterilized, and graded for quality. With many brands sourcing down from live birds, ethical concerns regarding live-plucking have led to an increasing demand for more humane practices and down alternatives. In response to the treatment of the birds used for down, Canada Goose holds a Responsible Down Standard certification, which ensures no force-feeding or live-plucking of birds for their feathers. However, outside of holding this certification, the brand’s website seems to lack a comprehensive animal cruelty policy. The brand is actively taking steps towards using more sustainable materials. For example in 2019, Canada Goose committed to sourcing more Preferred fibers and materials as defined by the Textile Exchange and currently over 50 percent of its products are made with PFMs. However, as the brand still uses animal derived materials such as down this raises concerns about animal welfare, even with the certification.

Exceeded my expectations
I bought these for my husband and they fit perfectly. He’s a tough one to buy clothes for and hates the way everything fits. To my surprise he loves these. Not to mention he had to have them for work and I was very worried he wouldn’t like them and he loves them

I ordered two of this color and 16 shirts overal. One had a different name stiched on the neck and the material and fit were slightly different. All of the Men’s Tech 2.0 shirts I’ve ordered said Men’s Tech Tee in the collar but the last one of this color says Heatgear in the collar and has a different material and is tighter and more form fitting. I think shop may have actually sent the wrong shirt so check what it says on the collar when you receive yours. All of the others, regardless of the country where they were made fit perfectly. I like the thin material, it will be great once the warm weather comes.

First off, at least in 4x, the waist is slightly smaller. I have 5 original tech shirts in the same 4x size (one that I never wear). Fitment usually varies a touch due to which color is used. Please be advised that the 4x 2.0 shirts are all slightly smaller in the waist vs the 1.0’s I have. It’s not a massive difference, but if you are on the edge of the spectrum size of the 1.0 you will be able to tell a difference. The 2.0 also seems to be a bit thinner of material.
This review was not intended to dissuade anyone from the product. I’m still happy with the shop products
