Colorado Proud Hawaiian Shirt . British accessories brand Been London has collaborated with London-based materials start-up Arda Biomaterials to develop a snakeskin-style handbag crafted from spent grain sourced locally from London’s ‘Beer Mile’ in Bermondsey. The new version of Been’s bestselling ‘Millais’ shoulder bag marks the first to debut Arda’s pioneering leather-like material, animal and plastic-free material, ‘New Grain’ engineered using leftover plant proteins in spent grain from London breweries.‘New Grain’ is described as “an extraordinary next-generation material,” and aims to offer a leather-like appearance with the same luxurious feel and premium quality, while turning a globally abundant byproduct of the beer brewing and whisky distilling industries into something new.Arda states that by bypassing animal-derived materials, ‘New Grain’ “significantly enhances resource efficiency while achieving unique qualities unattainable by animal skins”. The fabric is crafted from the ground up, allowing for customisability in patterns, thickness, colours, elasticity, flexibility, and scents. In addition, the production process generates 97 percent fewer CO2 emissions compared to traditional leather and avoids the harmful tanning process, contributing to a cleaner environment and zero microplastics.

Bought for Father’s Day for hubby. Ordered the 2XL. The tag on short said XXL which is not the same thing. It was tight. Nice fabric though. Short fits at the waist and raises above when raising arms.

Best t-shirts I’ve ever worn!
I love this t-shirt. I’ve read reviews where some customers said they did not feel the shirt was * heavy*, but by no means is it flimsy. I’m a chick though, so maybe guys wearing this as a work shirt need something a little thicker.
This brand also holds up MUCH better, in my opinion, to Hanes or FOTL. I have another 1 of these I refuse to throw out. Had it 3 years it held up that well and I’ve worn it a LOT. Washer and dryer over and over just makes it even better!
Ordering a bunch of these in other colors for sure.

Nice smooth material with no itchy inside seams or tags. But go up a size from usual.
That’s because the fit is odd.
On my average-athletic 5’11” frame, the L is oddly small, tapering to the waist such that it pulls towards the back. Not a flattering look. It’s also a little shorter/smaller than I expect even for UA, especially since it’s not a stretchy fit.
I went up to an XL, which was *also* oddly a little *larger* this time than UA XL is normally, reaching almost the back of my thighs in back (front is normal “at the hips”) and feeling roomy enough that it could be a girlfriend-steals-it shirt.
