From leather tutus to unstructured knitwear, the mini dress is the centrepiece of the spring-summer 2025 collection by JW Anderson, the label of Loewe artistic director Jonathan Anderson, presented Sunday on the third day of London Fashion Week.Under the glass ceiling of Old Billingsgate, a former Victorian fish market in London’s City district, the Northern Irish designer experimented with the form, fabric, and colour of the humble mini dress, playing with the possibilities of a garment often relegated to the wardrobe staple “little black dress.”A few models donned summer dresses in sky blue satins and pink sequins, but more looked prepared for a chilly British summer, borrowing thick knitwear and leather from the winter wardrobe.Some dresses were detailed with vest buttons and sweater pockets printed directly onto the fabric. Meanwhile, pullover and blazer-style dresses brought contrasting aesthetics to the catwalk.Dance-ready models strutted down the runway in sumptuous tutus and leotards in black, brown, and khaki leather, with others flaunting mini and maxi versions of the “balloon” skirt, which has been making a comeback since spring.Also artistic director of the LVMH group’s up-and-coming Spanish label Loewe, Anderson continues to revisit the classics in his latest collection, adding sweater sleeves or giant knitwear onto simple white or navy dresses.

London Cool Michael Keaton Beetlejuice Halloween Hawaiian Shirt . based fashion house Self-Portrait has announced the launch of a new Residency programme through which it is planning to invite creatives to try their hand at reinterpreting the brand’s own signature style. And who else to kick off the launch of such a project if not Christopher Kane?Kane, formerly the head of his own eponymous brand and now the inaugural Resident of Self-Portrait, will be designing out of the brand’s London studio at Harella House, where he has been tasked with infusing his own handwriting into the programme’s first collection.Pieces from this line are to then become available in stores and across an international retail network from the end of November 2024, when full details of the residency will become clearer.

Great quality fits perfectly
Very good quality especially for the purchase price for two. I bought them large and oversized for my tall and thin 15 year old daughter she likes to wear them with shorts and knee high socks and combat boots looks super cute on her and she’s happy and comfy I bought her an extra large and the shirts come to her mid thigh

Really nice fabric, comfy… but I gave it to my son because – as he said – he’s “willing to blind everyone”. The color’s a LOT brighter than shows in the photo. Brighter than a traffic cone. Other than that, it’s a good quality fabric, nice and light for summer. It’ll hold its color forever (I don’t expect it to fade much at all), and it comes out of the laundry looking brand new every time… Well okay we haven’t had it for very long, but you can tell by the feel that it’s going to stay nice looking for a long time.

Shirt is from the Dominican Republic. Words are printed on heavy cotton which is thick and not something I would wear in warm weather. Words or colour did not come off after one wash in the machine together with other clothes.

The shirt was 2x, but fit like 1x. The shirts evidently run smaller than ordered. For it to fit right I should have ordered a 3x to get the right fit. The shirt its self is Beautiful! I love cats and that’s why I ordered it. But because it’s too small I cant enjoy wearing it.The shirts are not true sizes

I Love kingteeshops
