On the runway, the feeling of joy emerged in the playful way Jacobs tweaked proportions, like a yellow polka dot bikini which had all the fluidity of stiff cardboard, complete with a conical bra. Sandals had their soles elongated, much like a child trying on its mother’s (or father’s) heels. There was a dress reminiscent of Minnie Mouse, punctuating the Disney-fication of silhouette, look and even makeup, which featured cartoon-like eyes with oversized lashes, counterbalanced by fairytale princess hair.Gowns and voluminous skirts appeared to be caught in a wind, with one white dress evoking the iconic Marilyn Monroe photograph. Gondola-shaped pumps were toe-curling, literally. Another ensemble could belong in the wardrobe of Snow White or Jessica Rabbit, resplendent in jewel tones and oversized gloves.The silhouette may have its humorous sparks, but beneath the façade, Jacobs’ comments on joy couldn’t be more apt. The show was held on the day France voted in a new far-right government and at a time when the world seems to be inching towards a state of decreasing tolerance. For many, life is no fairy tale.

Good for price. Bargain/novelty use, medium to medium/light weight.

Good for general or novelty use, but these are not heavy-weight like upper-end graphic tees. If you want good and heavy t-shirts for work, these are not it.
For embroidering, these do need more stabilizing than the white heavy-duty t-shirts you can get at a certain warehouse store, but I needed a good choice of colors. The colors are rich and the ones I’ve received have had no blotches and the seams have been solid. But I do check every shirt before I work on it.
These do begin to show wear/age after 5-6 washings, but if you just need smart-looking shirts for events like workshops and birthdays, these will do!

I like these shirts. They come in a pair. I use them casually at home or when working outside. They fit me nicely. I’m using X-Large. I’m about 5′ 8 ” with a medium sports build. No problems so far washing them. I wash them in eco-warm or cold water and lightly dry them. If you use hot water and over dry them, you risk shrinking most t-shirts. It has a nice little pocket too. I recommend these shirts. The shirt details say 50% cotton 50% polyester, XL | TG | EG Gildan DryBlend. Made in Central America (Honduras or Nicaragua). I’ll probably buy more.
