Bleach Hawaiian Shirt . based fashion house Self-Portrait has announced the launch of a new Residency programme through which it is planning to invite creatives to try their hand at reinterpreting the brand’s own signature style. And who else to kick off the launch of such a project if not Christopher Kane?Kane, formerly the head of his own eponymous brand and now the inaugural Resident of Self-Portrait, will be designing out of the brand’s London studio at Harella House, where he has been tasked with infusing his own handwriting into the programme’s first collection.Pieces from this line are to then become available in stores and across an international retail network from the end of November 2024, when full details of the residency will become clearer.

First off, at least in 4x, the waist is slightly smaller. I have 5 original tech shirts in the same 4x size (one that I never wear). Fitment usually varies a touch due to which color is used. Please be advised that the 4x 2.0 shirts are all slightly smaller in the waist vs the 1.0’s I have. It’s not a massive difference, but if you are on the edge of the spectrum size of the 1.0 you will be able to tell a difference. The 2.0 also seems to be a bit thinner of material.

Worthy replacement
It was slightly smaller, but then I’m slightly bigger now after Thanksgiving. The color is an exact match to my old ones of large size, from 1979. It helped my new/old fatigues look perfect.

I once endlessly wore The Mountain Co Fairy T shirts. This is my 1st in several years along with 2 other, The Reader & Spell Time which both feature cats with tarot cards or spellwork items. This Fairy is stunning & colors are vibrant. Still the awesome quality they always were! Fits perfectly although these Ts do tend to run a tad long to show the designs! Perfect medium!

The fabric was very soft compared to a traditional cotton t-shirt and it fit as expected. The graphic was thick which you could tell it’s very good quality. I got many compliments.

I bought this to purposefully be oversized so I order a size XL. It’s very comfortable and holds up well in the wash. It’s a conversation starter and always a big hit. I like to wear with my bicycle yoga shorts.

These shirts are great. There are many reviews stating that they are not heavyweight but they are much heavier than the regular ones. Also, I would order one size larger than normal because they do shrink in the wash. I purchased the white and they are very bright and not faded at all and unlike many T-shirt’s, they are not too narrow but just the right width. Definitely worth purchasing.
