Because if you think about it, all these years that you’ve been telling them that there’s a Santa and that there’s an Easter Bunny, you’ve been lying to them. So once they find out that they’re not real, they look at you like, they’ve trusted you all these years, and here you are, you have been lying to them all this time. So now it’s okay for them to lie.
