American heritage footwear brand Florsheim has partnered with Los Angeles-based sustainable footwear brand Psudo to create a summer capsule collection.The debut Florsheim x Psudo collection sees Florsheim apply its quality craftsmanship to Psudo’s approach to sustainable footwear. The capsule collection consists of seven colors and prints and is divided into three sub categories: Basic, Summer, and Bold. The Basic collection includes neutral and natural colors like brown, navy, and charcoal, which reflect Florsheim’s traditional roots. The Summer collection features a lighter color palette, with sage green and denim, next to playful palm leaf prints for the summer season. The Bold collection consists of two bright colorways, dark purple/aqua ombre, and navy/orange ombre, with a distinctive snake texture that captures the essence of the Psudo style.”Partnering with Psudo has been a fantastic journey,” says John Florsheim, president and chief operating officer of Weyco Group Incorporated, the parent company of Florsheim, in a statement. “To be able to learn the latest in sustainable footwear technology and work with a team who is passionate about their craft has been a pleasure. These shirts are nice. They are lighter than the hanes heavy cotton shirts. They feel good and fit as expected. They are really comfortable and cooler than most of my shirts.
