God, people who shit on valentine’s day because they’re single and bitter are insufferable. I’m single and bitter, but it isn’t like Valentine’s day was invented as a personal attack on my single-ness.

Just don’t take away my love of it. But I genuinely always struggle on Valentines. No less then 45-50% of that day is spent defending V-day, so I’ve heard it all. I do just enjoy it. And I get why everybody else enjoys their days. Cause, you said it. It’s empty to ask why anyone enjoys anything. They just do.
