The presidential election is the only election we have in this country that isn’t a direct vote.

It was two hundred and some odd years ago. We aren’t a compilation of sovereign and autonomous nation-states. We are one nation. It’s time we started acting like it. Stop with the fallacy. Those people would have the same say as everyone else. One person one vote. One only needs to get half the votes of any one state to obtain all of their electoral votes. I have mixed feelings about this. I like the idea of making Congressional districts smaller, but I have a deep-rooted suspicion of bigger government.
