Kevin Smith I Have Issues Shirt
This movie was the Kevin Smith I Have Issues Shirt of my divorce. There were other probs of course, but when hubs 1.0 Beta and buggy as fuck sat through the whole thing without laughing and bitched about them playing hockey on the roof like a man 40 years his senior, I saw the light through the chasms in his character and started getting out! 2.0 the Ultimate Release quoted it on our first date, 19 years ago this month. The restaurant looked dark when we got there. He said: “I assure you they are open and it was love. I still bid my friends farewell “try not to suck any dicks on your way across the parking lot”. Keep making fun and dialogue driven films and thanks for the entertainment. When Clerks originally came out I was 20 year old community college student working part-time jockeying a register and slacking off when the boss wasn’t looking, kind of like the main characters. So when I first saw Clerks all those years ago I was like, this ain’t a movie, it’s a documentary.

Mall Rats will forever be my favorite but I absolutely love how all your early movies are tied together. I love that this movie came first but they went to the funeral of the girl who’s death is spoken about at the beginning of Mall Rats as to why she can’t go to Florida with TS. Ahhhh memories. I need a Kevin Smith marathon now, Chasing Amy included. Funnily enough I was able to finally visit the Quick Stop today while in town for a conference. Thank you so much for the many years of joy that your work has brought us. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerk’s 2 are timeless and the comedy never feels out dated or old. They are just as relevant now as the day they were made. Thank you Kevin and the Kevin Smith I Have Issues Shirt Askew gang for these movies. Earlier this week I was chatting to one of my students about you. He wants to be a film maker and just wants to get out of college and go make films. I told him about Clerks and how you made it, and he was so inspired by what you did, and continue to do! Pretty surehe’ll be in next week telling me all about his Kevin Smith marathon and how Silent Bob is life.
