Its unique mix of racial harmony, passionate romances and palace intrigues, not to mention the sumptuous clothing, all set to a contemporary musical score, has delighted viewers for three seasons.The series is set in the period 1810-1820 when Britain’s King George III was deemed mentally unfit to rule and his son, the Prince Regent, took the reins. Henceforth this was known as the Regency period.Despite the fact that France and England were at war, the Empress Josephine Bonaparte, dressed by Louis Hippolite Leroy, had a huge impact on the English upper classes. The stiff dresses with enormous pannier skirts and towering wigs of the previous Rococo period were replaced with high-waisted ‘empire’ gowns and natural hair styles. As it was considered paramount to be a graceful dancer at the many society balls given during ‘the season,’ the fluidity and ease of movement these dresses offered was a welcome change.During the recent Haute Couture FW24 Week, it seemed that, whether by design, or just subliminally, designers were influenced by the Bridgerton TV show and the Regency period in general.

Decent Tees
I’ve ordered these 10 or 12 times in different colors. Haven’t had any problems with them being rough or scratchy or seams coming undone. I live in the south so they are plenty heavy enough. I would call them a medium weight cotton. After washing and drying they’re still longer than the other brands I’ve tried from Walmart. I like my Tees over-sized so I order a xxxl. For the price I cant complain

Love these shirts, so comfortable!
Some of the reviews complain these aren’t heavy like advertised, and I agree they aren’t particularly heavy. I’d say they’re average weight. But they are exactly what I was looking for and I am very pleased. I purchased the maroon. I’d say they run a tad small. I’m a 150lb women and was looking for a loose fit and had trouble deciding between ordering the medium or large. I went with the large and I’m glad I did. I want to order more colors. I only wish I could order a single one or that they had more varied color combinations.

This shirt is very comfortable, light, and moisture wicking as advertised. It also fits as expected — sometimes. I bought five of these in all different colors. They all arrived in the same box but individually sealed in plastic. The ones that fit as expected were labeled medium and are made in Jordan. The plastic they were wrapped in had the under armour logo on it. The ones that didn’t look to have been resealed in unmarked plastic and while they too are labeled medium they say they are made in Mexico. The shirts labeled as from Mexico are a good 1-2 inches shorter in length and seem to be more fitted in cut than the Jordan shirts, which have a nice loose cut without being sloppy. The seller should really advertise this difference on each shirt color as it applies since there seems to be two very different fits with no distinction in the name. Would have given a five star review if not for this issue and will not purchase again until fit is less of a crapshoot.
