It rocks hard and yet is gorgeous. Lyrically fantastic. Perfection! NLC is high on my list of Metallica favorites, and I have been so blessed to hear it played live in concert as well. I shed tears of joy when they played it! I was completely in shock. I never thought I would hear it played live in my lifetime, but always yearned to hear it in all the times over the years I have seen Metallica perform. You and I could have shared a box of Kleenex! Such a happy moment! When I saw it live at my first Metallica concert, there was lightning nearby and when James sang ‘pay no mind to the distant thunder’ he pointed to the sky.

One of my favorites!!! Man, this Never underestimate a woman who listens to Metallica and was born in January shirt back memories. We were at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam and I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to S&M in Berlin. He was a huge Metallica fan. He died three years later in a car accident. This was The cut from S&M. The rest of it was ok to meh, but No Leaf Clover, maybe because they’d never played it live before, just fucking crushed it. I love this song, it’s near the top of my Metallica playlist. Metallica’s last, GREAT song. Not trolling, my favorite band of all time and forever legendary due to all the albums leading up to S&M. But I can’t think of one song since then that’s been better than this.
