American Rag Cie has partnered up with denim and casualwear foresight platform Denim Dudes on an initiative that will allow emerging brands to rework and reimagine pieces from the LA store’s vintage stock to create exclusive capsule collections.Seven LA-based emerging names have been selected to participate in the project, ‘Nothing New’, through which they will be given access to vintage garments in American Rag’s archive that they can either use as inspiration or as the foundation for their collection.Each brand’s 20-piece capsule line will then be sold exclusively through American Rag’s online and brick-and-mortar store from September 2024. An official launch party will also be held on September 19, which will be free to attend for both customers and industry professionals.Those selected to take part include Object from Nothing, Knorts, Dr Iceland, Denem, Masato Kawajo, N.G.O and Clutch Golf.In a release, Amy Leverton, founder of Denim Dudes, said: “Community, creativity and innovation are the values we cherish most at Denim Dudes. This alignment with AmRag gives us the opportunity to showcase some of the incredible talent we share online in a more tangible way and forge a deeper connection with our local denim community in the process.”

Ba&sh has already implemented reduction water plans and for its SS24 collection, it used 97 percent organic cotton, which required 20 percent less water than conventional cotton. In the same collection, 79 percent of the denim used was washed in an environmentally responsible way and 79 percent had a low EIM (Environmental Impact Measuring) score. This means that, when it is washed it requires less than a minimum of 22.5 litres of water, compared with the average 90 litres needed for other denim. The aim for 2025 is for the brand to achieve an average EIM score of between 0 and 33 for all denim.In addition, the brand is also mapping its denim-washing facilities and carrying out environmental audits. In 2023, 60 percent of the washing facilities had a valid environmental audit according to the requirements specified by Ba&sh. By 2027, it is aiming for 50 percent of its level 2 partners (washing facilities, dyeing facilities) to have an environmental audit that meets its requirements.

Needless to say im a big guy. 6′ 3″ and 300 Lbs.
These shirts are well made and keep you much cooler than a regular shirt.
They are sized right and run on a “just right” fitting
its almost like wearing no shirt, The breeze blows right though it and if it gets wet it dries quickly.

Like them so much I bought 5 more.

The price is right, they do what they are supposed to, stop looking and take the shot.
