Good to see the RBL Bikers in attendance as usual! I am a Re-enactor and take part in the Weymouth Veterans parade each year, this year in ATS KD uniform and there are hundreds of people clapping and waving as the Historic Military Vehicle convoy goes along the Esplanade and down to the Pavilion, I feel proud to take part and also humbled by the numbers of Veterans attending from not just WW2 but all conflicts since.Thank you for your service everyone of you! It is very sad that a true hero died alone. I have no military experience but I have a real fascination with war. In my opinion all war veterans are incredible heroes. They went to a war in the full knowledge they could die or become horribly injured, yet they still went. That is very brave. Thanks very much SIR for your service. I will never forget. Everyone else should always remember. He can now rest in eternal peace.
