It’s an absolute classic but imagine a political album going diamond today, dude was throwing some strong messages against. The Bush administration and the war on terror. It was easier to sell a mil first week then it is now. Mainly cause it was harder to put out music (no Soundcloud, internet, youtube. Classic “listen to my mixtape” on the street with CDs in your hand hustle) so. The few established artists had more control over the market. Drake will go top again, the numbers gods plan has been doing are ridiculous. And I’m pretty sure that’s just a loosie.
