(this or this). To often a brand or method of behaviour masks coercive control in many relationships. Passive aggression comes to mind, Incivility is prevalent in a great many institutions. What is not so prevalent are those that stand up to it. When considering quality of life, (self preservation society), civility goes out the door.I really appreciate this Ted talks. I try to carry myself in a very positive way but there are times I observe that type of situation or passive aggressiveness, and I wonder how does this persist? I have been saying for years that the key to success of any organization is morale. Of course, after being passed up for promotion, I eventually blew my back out, and I have been unemployed for over five years.
